Derek Dobies, Arlene Robinson to Host Listening Session With Jackson Voters

JACKSON – Jackson Mayoral candidate Derek Dobies and 1st Ward City Council member Arlene Robinson will host a listening session with Jackson voters on Thursday evening at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. Dobies and Robinson will meet with voters to discuss their priorities for fixing Jackson roads, strengthening public safety, and attracting small business and jobs to Jackson. Food and drinks will be provided, and the event is free and open to the public.

“Being Mayor means making yourself accessible to the people of Jackson, and that’s what this event is all about,” said Dobies. “I want to give voters a chance to meet with me face-to-face, share their ideas, and ask me questions. It’s also a chance for voters to hear more about my vision for building a Jackson that works for all of us.”

“I appreciate Derek’s willingness to visit the First Ward to hear our ideas, concerns, and comments,” said Robinson. “It shows me that Derek is the right choice to be Jackson’s next Mayor.”
